Getting Started Guide for Simple URL | Free URL shortener and Go Links

Install

Pin Simple URL extension

To easily access the extension from all tabs, Click bookmark icon (  ) to the right of the address bar. Then click pin () next to SimpleURL.
This will add the SimpleURL button to the address bar.


1. Create first Go Link (private Short URL) 

Make sure you have Simple URL Chrome extension installed
  • Enter short & easy-to-remember alias/keyword for your long URL
  • Click 'Create Short URL' button

Simply type (or simply click) u/start into your browser

2. Create Public Short URL

Make sure you have Simple URL Chrome extension installed
  • Use auto-generated short alias OR enter short alias for your long URL
  • Click 'Create Short URL' button

Just like any other URL shortener, create publicly accessible short URLs (anyone with the link can access this URLs).
